Angell Park WI, Aug 26, 2007 - Almost 28 years to the day of New Zealands finest ever Midget driver Barry Butterworth becoming the first non American to win a USAC Midget event, two fellow Kiwis celebrated the occasion by finishing 1st and 2nd in the USAC - Badger co-sanctioned event at Angell Park tonight.

Coons Scores Fourth Angell Park Victory of the Season
By Bryan Gapinski Sun Prairie, Wis., Aug. 25--Jerry Coons Jr. again found victory lane Saturday Night at Angell Park Speedway by capturing the 30-lap "National Midget Hall of Fame Classic. The event was co-sanctioned by the USAC National and Badger Midget Car Series, the victory also extended Coons' USAC point lead and was his fourth feature victory of the season at the track.

Macon, Ill.......Brad Kuhn of Avon, Ind. led all 30 laps to win Friday night's USAC National Midget race at Macon Speedway co-sanctioned by POWRi. Kuhn started on the pole in his Quin Buildings Stealth/Mopar and was trailed by Brad Loyet, Shane Hollingsworth, Derrick King and Darren Hagen. National Midget point leader Jerry Coons Jr. finished 18th.
