Rain Shortens Springs Boxing Night Meet
Auckland NZ, December 26 2007 - Rain curtailed the traditional Boxing Night Speedway meeting at Western Springs last night. Midget heat races were held but the rain set in at the Springs moments before the Feature race was to begin giving the track Promoter no choice but to abandon the meeting.

Auckland NZ Dec 1, 2007 - Driving the Aggressor/Mopar #13, Brad Mosen took out the major honours at Western Springs Speedway last Saturday night, winning the 25 Lap Feature race by just 0.194 sec ahead of Shayne Alach and Lance Beale.

Auckland, NZ. November 4, 2007 - Before a large crowd, the 2007-08 summer racing season kicked off at Western Springs Speedway in Auckland last Saturday night.
Unfortunately, because of red light stoppages in the TQ and Sprintcar Feature races and because of the 10.30pm curfew the Western Springs Stadium operates under, the nights 25 Lap Midget Feature race was shortened to one of the shortest Midget Feature races held at the Stadium in recent times, just 9 laps. Western Springs 1st Practice Postponed
12 Oct 2007
The Speedway practice scheduled for tomorrow 13th October 2007 has been postponed due to poor weather and track conditions.
The practice will now be held on Saturday 20th October 2007. Practice will start at 2.00pm green sheeting and vehicle checking will take place at Western Springs on this date also.
The 2nd Practice prior to the start of the racing season will take place on the 27th October as scheduled.
